Client Objective
We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the City of Sauk Rapids and help bring their vision for The Clearing and Riverside Nights to life. The Clearing is located in Sauk Rapids along the Mississippi River and includes parks, a large event center, small rental room, interactive splash-pad, and an outdoor amphitheater. They needed help creating an identity for this space, branding the weekly Thursday night event, and general promotion of it to residents and beyond.
Solution
We started by naming the area itself which included the existing Southside and Lion’s parks, as well as the large and small buildings. With all the names, we wanted the focus to be on the gorgeous view of the Mississippi. The final names included The Clearing as the main complex space, Riverside Terrance for the large event center, and The Lookout for the small building by the splash-pad. From there, we helped create a logo, websites, and promotional material.
